The main activity in this area is the design of electrification and reconstruction of the railway contact network of the 3 kV DC power supply system at a rolling stock speed of up to 250 km/h, 25 kV AC and 2x25 kV industrial frequency 50 Hz power supply systems at a rolling stock speed of up to 400 km/h.
The main works performed on the contact network are:
- measurement and survey work of the contact network devices of stations, railroad tracks, as well as artificial structures on both operating and being electrified railways;
- electrical calculations of traction energy system;;
- design of the contact network and additional wires of the longitudinal power supply along the supports of the contact network;
- tracing and design of overhead power supply lines for traction energy;
- design and reconstruction of the contact network of docking stations of various current types;
- staged reconstruction of the contact network with consideration to the reconstruction of the tracks;
- design of the contact network in the depot workshops;
- reconstruction of the contact network in the construction area of overpasses and other artificial structures;
- design of the contact network in tunnels;
- author's supervision of the contact network construction;
- development of design documentation for the contact network passage in artificial structures.
