From the beginning of its activity Lengiprotrans took an active part in the transport development of the Kazakh SSR. In the 1950s - 1960s, the institute created a project for a new railway line Karaganda - Karagayly in the central part of the republic. The road was intended to transport equipment and workers to agricultural areas and to the Karagailinskoye field.
When choosing the position of the track for the field survey at the facility, the aerial photography method was used. The line was built and commissioned in 1965.
