From 6 to 8 October, the IV International Scientific and Practical Conference «Development of Infrastructure and Logistics Technologies in Transport Systems» (RILTTRANS-2021) was held at the St. Petersburg State University of Railway Transport of Emperor Alexander I (PGUPS).
The aim of the conference was to unite the professional transport community to present the results of theoretical and applied research in the development of transport hubs, the introduction of digitalization and logistics technologies in transport in modern conditions.
At the plenary session "Transport hubs of the XXI century: prospects and development priorities", held on October 6, heads of JSC Russian Railways and its structural divisions made reports. The topics of the reports were the prospects for the development of railway transport, the development of the Moscow, St. Petersburg, Volkhovstroyevsky, Ust-Luga and Murmansk railway hubs, the project of the high-speed railway St. Petersburg — Moscow and other topics of the country's railway infrastructure.
Within the framework of the conference was organized the work of round tables.
Chief specialist in traffic management and economic calculations of JSC Lengiprotrans (part of the 1520 Group of Companies) Alexey Alexandrovich Motin took part in a round table dedicated to the development of the Moscow and St. Petersburg railway hubs. In his report "Bypasses of railway hubs" he spoke about the projects of the South-West and North-Eastern bypasses in the Leningrad region, their tasks and prospects.
At the round table "Creation of landfills and landfill technologies" Sergey Aleksandrovich Kucherskaya, chief engineer of the project of JSC Lengiprotrans, made a presentation on the development of the landfill of the Northern Railway as part of the implementation of the complex project "Northern Latitudinal Railway".
The RILTTRANS-2021 Conference allowed the community of representatives of government agencies, industrial enterprises, researchers and university professors to discuss the progress and intermediate results of solving the tasks set in the Transport Strategy of the Russian Federation until 2030, in investment projects of Russian Railways, strategies and concepts for the development of the transport system of the North Western Federal District.
