On April 10, a General Meeting of the Members of the Union of Railway Builders (SSZHD) was held in Moscow. The event was attended by representatives of federal legislative and executive authorities, heads of Russian Railways and representatives of business associations. On behalf of PJSC Lengiprotrans (part of the 1520 Group of Companies), the meeting was attended by General Director - Dmitry Viktorovich Golubovsky and Deputy Chief Engineer for Automation, Head of the Information Technology Department - Vladimir Viktorovich Frenev.
The event was attended by Valery Seleznev, First Deputy Chairman of the Energy Committee of the State Duma of the Russian Federation; Oleg Toni, Deputy General Director of Russian Railways - Head of the Center for the Development of the Moscow Transport Hub; Vice President of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, Chairman of the Committee for Investment Policy, Development Institutions and Export Support Igor Vdovin; Director General of JSC "Institute for Transport Economics and Development" Yuri Fedorov; Valentin Gapanovich, President of the Association of Railway Equipment Manufacturers; Director of the Institute of Track, Construction and Structures of the Russian University of Transport (MIIT) Taisiya Shepitko.
General Director of PJSC Lengiprotrans Dmitry Viktorovich Golubovsky made a presentation on "Development of information modeling of railway infrastructure". Dmitry Viktorovich noted that at present, Lengiprotrans PJSC is developing information modeling technologies and is actively involved in the development of domestic software.
All the speakers were unanimous in the opinion that the construction complex was faced with major tasks, which are at the same time serious challenges and impose obligations on railway builders to fulfill the volumes and deliver the facilities on time.
The result of the meeting was the unanimous adoption of the priority directions of the Union's activities for 2019, which were announced in his report by the President of the SSZD Gennady Talashkin:
1. Interaction with authorities, departments and organizations on topical issues in the implementation of projects for the development of railway infrastructure, provided for by the Comprehensive Plan for the Modernization and Expansion of the Main Infrastructure for the Period up to 2024 and the Long-Term Development Program of Russian Railways until 2025.
2. Improvement of the regulatory framework for railway construction.
3. Assistance in the implementation of PPP projects in the field of railway transport.
4. Participation in the implementation of information modeling technologies in the Russian Railways holding.
5. Support for international cooperation and foreign railway construction projects.
