The Volkhovstroy diesel locomotive depot (now TChE-21, Volkhov repair locomotive depot) is located at the Volkhovstroy I marshalling yard of the Oktyabrskaya railway.
In 1950-1960, the former Department of the plants of Lengiprotrans developed a project for the reconstruction of the Volkhovstroy depot. This was due to the transfer of the railway from steam traction to diesel locomotive.
