The Leningrad City Electric Transport Repair Plant was founded in 1934 on Chugunnaya Street. The enterprise was intended for the production of rolling stock for the tramway system of Leningrad.
The ZRGET reconstruction project was prepared by Lengiprotrans in the 1980s.
