Danilov is a junction station for joining the genera of the current of the Northern Railway. The directions Moscow-Yaroslavskaya - Arkhangelsk and Danilov - Bui pass through it.
According to the Lengiprotrans project, a motor car depot was built at the station. Design and survey work began in 1971, when the site was designed: off-site sewerage, sewage treatment facilities, a water tower, engineering networks.
The main work was carried out in the 1980s and 1990s. A complex of facilities for the repair of rolling stock was designed at the station:
• industrial building;
• administrative building;
• boiler room;
• service building;
• heating networks and power supply;
• temporary self-locking, corrosion protection;
• external communication networks;
• track part;
• housing construction.
