In 1954, the Lengiprotrans Plants Department developed a project for a precast concrete plant in Komsomolsk-on-Amur.
Although the department was engaged in work on a plant of this profile for the first time, the project was drawn up using the most modern technological processes and equipment. To ensure this, the best enterprises for the production of reinforced concrete structures of other departments were preliminarily examined, the recommendations of TsNIIS and other research organizations were studied.
