In the 1980s, during the development of the railway network of the Kazakh SSR, Lengiprotrans developed a project for a motor depot for the Kokchetavtransstroy Trust in Astana.
In those years, the Kokchetavtransstroy trust was subordinate to the Main Directorate of Railway Construction (GUZhDS) of Kazakhstan and Central Asia of the Ministry of Transport Construction (Mintransstroy) of the USSR. He carried out, by order of the Ministry of Railways (MPS) of the USSR, the construction of all large railway facilities of the Kokchetav (now Kokshetau) railway junction and highways adjacent to it, as well as storage and removal of finished products to construction sites according to the established nomenclature.
