During the construction of railways for the development of virgin lands in Kazakhstan Lengiprotrans developed a project for the state farm "Tselinogradsky" 25 km from Tselinograd (now Astana).
The building was designed as exemplary. Provided for the construction of farms for 2,400 heads of cattle, a greenhouse and greenhouse facilities, a vegetable store, a granary, machine repair shops, a central boiler house, warehouses and other structures. For resettlement and service of the population, it was envisaged to build a large complex settlement with an area of 49 thousand square meters. meters for an individual project.
The following facilities were built in the village:
• 4- and 5-storey residential buildings with a total area of 48878 sq. m;
• schools for 640 students;
• shopping center with a shop;
• canteen, consumer services complex;
• hospital for 50 beds;
• sauna, laundry, hotel.
The design of such large state farms did not correspond to the profile of Lengiprotrans and the specialists invested great efforts in finding solutions to new problems. A group of employees was awarded medals “For the development of virgin and fallow lands”.
