The railway line Gatchina - Siverskaya is a section of the Warsaw line of the Oktyabrskaya railway.
In 1966, according to the Lengiprotrans project, the line was electrified for direct current with a voltage of 3 kV. The project was developed as part of the transfer to electric traction of the suburban railway sections of the St. Petersburg junction.
In connection with the electrification of the Leningrad-Gatchina-Siverskaya line, the institute also designed the reconstruction of the Leningrad-Varshavsky station in 1960-1966.
