The Dno is the junction station of the October railway. The directions St. Petersburg - Vitebsk and Rybinsk - Bologoye - Pechory-Pskovskie pass through it.
In 1940-1950, a power plant was built at the station according to the project of Lentransproekt (since 1951 - Lengiprotrans).
