Rybatskoye - Kupchinskaya is a section of the Southern Semicircle (also called the Second Port Branch) of the St. Petersburg railway junction, opened in 1930.
In the 1970s-1980s, according to the Lengiprotrans project, the railway was equipped with an automatic blocking system as part of the transfer to electric traction.
