In the 1980s, in the course of the development of the railway network of the Kazakh SSR, Lengiprotrans developed a project for the plant of reinforced concrete structures of the Kokchetavtransstroy trust in Kokchetav (now Kokshetau).
In those years, the Kokchetavtransstroy trust was subordinate to the Main Directorate of Railway Construction (GUZhDS) of Kazakhstan and Central Asia of the Ministry of Transport Construction (Mintransstroy) of the USSR. He carried out, by order of the Ministry of Railways (MPS) of the USSR, the construction of all large railway facilities of the Kokchetav (now Kokshetau) railway junction and highways adjacent to it.
The trust had its own large production base in Kokchetav, which is an enterprise of the Ministry of Transport. It provided on-site construction and industrial products for the facilities under construction of the trust, and also carried out warehousing and export of finished products according to the established nomenclature.
