The Atasu - Karazhal railway line was designed by Lentransproekt (since 1951 - Lengiprotrans) in the late 1940s. The road was supposed to provide access to an iron ore deposit in Kazakhstan.

Research, design and construction of the line were carried out on a tight schedule. In 1947, survey work began, and in April 1949 the technical design was completed.

The Kokchetav (Kokshetau) - Kzyl-Tu railway line is a section of the Kazakhstan railway. The project of the second tracks on the site was developed by Lengiprotrans by decree of the Central Committee of the CPSU and the Council of Ministers of the USSR in 1976-1985.

In the 1970s – 1980s, Lengiprotrans developed a project for second tracks with electrification on the Kokchetav (now Kokshetau) - Tselinnye Sands - Presnogorkovskaya section by decree of the CPSU Central Committee and the USSR Council of Ministers.

Ekibastuz is a large industrial and transport center in the Pavlodar region of Kazakhstan. In 1954, the first coal mine of the Irtyshugol trust with a capacity of 3 million tons of coal per year was launched here.

The project of the external railway transport of the Ekibastuz trust "Irtyshugol" was developed by "Lengiprotrans" in 1956-1970.

Kokchetav (now Kokshetau) is the administrative center of the Akmola region of Kazakhstan.

In the 1980s, according to the Lengiprotrans project, the City Vocational School for 480 students was built in Kokchetav.

In 1986, the Department of nodes and stations of Lengiprotrans developed a project of an access road to the Akmola poultry farm and reconstruction of stopping point No. 96.

The fuel and energy complex is located here, including the large thermal power plant Ekibastuzskaya GRES.

In the 1970s – 1980s, Lengiprotrans developed a project for an access railway to the temporary buildings and structures of the Ekibastuz SDPP with the reconstruction of the Ekibastuz I station. This was due to the commissioning of the Ekibastuz fuel and energy complex. On the site were designed: track section, electrification, automatic blocking, dispatch centralization and communication lines.

For many years, Lengiprotrans has been designing the Virgin Railway, which runs through the territory of Northern and Central Kazakhstan. This was due to the development of virgin fallow lands since the mid-1950s.

The project of bypassing the station Tselinograd (now Astana) with the strengthening of sorting facilities was developed by the Department of nodes and stations of the Institute in 1976-1981.

The railway line Karaganda - Tselinograd (now Astana) - Atbasar is a section of the Karaganda - Magnitogorsk meridional route, which provides transport links between Kazakhstan and the enterprises of the Ural metallurgy.

The project for the electrification of an AC power frequency line was developed by Lengiprotrans in the 1960s. This was the first work of Lengiprotrans on alternating current electrification.

The railway line Magnitogorsk - Tobol - Zhelezorudnaya - Tselinograd (now Astana) is a double-track line, one of the most important transport routes of the Kazakh SSR. It provided transport links between Kazakhstan and the Urals and the Volga region of Russia.

The line electrification project was developed by Lengiprotrans in 1966-1970. In the same period, the Magnitogorsk - Tobol railway section was transferred to diesel traction.
